About the role:
As an Account Manager, you will be hands on, responsible for working with our Australian and New Zealand clients to engage as well as expand and upsell them into different product offerings. You will act as their internal champion within the business to ensure the needs and requirements of our customers are well understood, helping to assist with our customer-centric culture that spans across the organisation.
The role is focused on and responsible for:
Client Engagement/Usage/Retention
Working to ensure strong client engagement and education around the platform and cybersecurity. delivering a quality AM program focused on Net Revenue Retention of 98% or above.
Working proactively with other internal team members to provide education and implementation of campaigns to better demonstrate the value and how to use the Practice Protect Platform, including driving up usage,
Running presentations, reports, webinars and attending events focused on clients.
Client Expansion
Working with clients to cross sell additional products to enhance protection in the ever-expanding war on cybercrime.
Proactively work with clients as they expand their workforce proactively reaching out to increase Practice Protect user counts.
Working to identify upsell opportunities and send it over to sales for upgrades.
You’re a match if you have:
- Genuine empathy and listening skills. You need to possess a personality type that is energised by professional interaction.
- Creative and strategic. You have a knack for spotting trends, thinking creatively, and developing strategies that work.
- A technology translator. You can communicate technical concepts to non-tech audiences. Experience with SaaS or other tech-driven products is a big plus.
- Relationship-building skills. You will be expected to engage deeply with the accounting industry.
Work skills and behaviours:
- Experience in a B2B Professional Services environment, preferably accounting.
- Experience in client relationship/partnership /account management
- Experience in business technology
- Experience in Sales but looking for a change
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years' work experience
- Ability to communicate well in English – both orally and written
- Excellent organisational skills and flexible working capacity
- Confident interacting with clients in person, via zoom or on the phone
- Willingness to grow in the role and learn new skills on the job
- Ability to work as part as a team
- The legal rights to work in Australia

- Experience in an IT, MSP, Software, or tech-related company
- B2B, SaaS or Sales experience highly regarded, but not required
