We are looking for a Maître de/ Service manager for our beautiful French-inspired restaurant and bar.

Located in the heart of Albion, Hervé’s is a vibrant French-inspired bistro known for its exceptional cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and warm hospitality. Our stunning venue features a lively dining space, an elegant bar perfect for after-work drinks, and an expanding footprint for events.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team.This position has become available due to the expansion of our business to include new event spaces. The ideal Maître de/ Service manager will have:

• Previous, hands-on experience within a high quality, fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong hospitality operational knowledge
• Strong wine knowledge in global and local wines
• Experience in budget management and cost control
• Great presentation and time management skills
• Knowledge of restaurant bar & cocktail style service (advantageous not essential)
• Experience in premium French Bistro (a positive not essential)
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience managing a large volume of customers
• Experience with rostering
• An enthusiastic nature about themselves and joining our team
• Have previous staff training experience
• A passion for the hospitality industry and putting the guests at the heart of everything you do
• Excellent communication skills
• Have current Queensland RSA certificate
