SHAC’s mission is to support families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness on their path to a secure future. We do this by providing temporary accommodation with support, mobile support services and financial inclusion and financial resilience services to assist people to move to secure housing and achieve long term financial security.
SHAC is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to effectively manage SHAC service delivery in accordance with contractual obligations, SHAC policies and SHAC values.
Career Opportunity
The SHAC Service Delivery Manager oversees five service teams at SHAC and reports to the CEO.
The role includes responsibility for the development of service delivery policies and operational procedures, implementing strategic service delivery initiatives, collaborating with external partners to improve service delivery outcomes and supervision of senior staff.
Job Responsibilities
The position’s responsibilities include to:
- Lead service delivery strategy, innovation and quality assurance
- Develop and continuously improve service delivery policies and procedures
- Develop systems, technology and/or processes to support service delivery improvements
- Support the effective management of risk in relation to service delivery
- Foster a supportive and collaborative staff culture consistent with SHAC values
- Supervise and support Senior Practitioners to effectively manage client services in all programs
- Oversee reporting requirements and the achievement of key service delivery KPIs for all programs
- Work collaboratively with funding bodies, service partners and other stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the SHAC Board, CEO and financial staff to manage risk, meet quality assurance requirements, develop funding submissions and set strategic directions in relation to service delivery
Key Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary degree with management experience in community services or significant relevant management experience in community services
- Strong commitment to SHAC values
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Experience in policy development and quality assurance
- Excellent attention to detail and an unquestionable commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent computer literacy and skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
This position is subject to the successful candidate being able to obtain a Working with Children card (Blue Card) and the maintenance of a current Qld Driver’s License.
