The Palmwoods Hotel, situated in the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland, is renowned for its live entertainment, exceptional service, and fantastic food. Alongside our bustling hotel operations, we also manage three retail outlets, contributing to our dynamic and diverse business.

We are currently seeking a Bistro Manager to lead our team and uphold the outstanding reputation of our establishment.

About the Role:

As Bistro Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our bistro by delivering an outstanding dining experience, managing daily operations, and leading a motivated team. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards while fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 1 years of experience as a Manager in a busy hotel bistro or restaurant.

Proven track record in hospitality management.

Exceptional customer service skills, with a bright and friendly personality.

Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Supervisory skills, including staff training, direction, and motivation.

Passion for food and wine, with a solid understanding of the industry.

Calm under pressure, maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.

Creative mindset with innovative ideas to grow our Bistro Food and Bar business.

Experience in functions management is highly regarded.

Current RSA and RSG certifications.

Flexibility to work split shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
