Futurerent is revolutionizing how property investors tap into the money they need to grow their wealth. Until now, most property investors have refinanced their entire loan when they only need a small amount, which is slow, painful and expensive. The banks make borrowing $50,000 as painful as borrowing $500,000. Futurerent gives property investors up to $100,000 or rental income upfront, without borrowing money.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Associate to manage day-to-day billing, collections, account management and settlements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, strong attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills enabling them to stretch from accounts receivable and administration to debugging statement errors and streamlining processes to enable automation that will enable the business to scale efficiently. A minimum of 6 months experience in Xero is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and allocate payments received from property managers.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitoring and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution (early-mid cycle).
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional approach.
• Maintain exceptional internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Administration & Billing:

• Conduct client verification and contract management to ensure the accuracy of account details.
• Ensure setup fee payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaise with solicitors, real estate agents, and financial institutions as needed.
• Oversee billing processes and ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain and update contract records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms.

Finance Operations:

• Checking and collating key required due diligence items prior to settlement.
• Monitoring key operational pipelines that handle transactions through key lifecycle events.
• Debugging and streamlining operations, working closely with engineering to enable automation and the development of a real time banking and transaction management system.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, administration, billing, or contract management.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in Xero is required (MYOB or QBO is also beneficial, but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation, invoicing, and contract administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
