MARS Recruitment are partnering with a reputable non-bank lender to recruit a high-calibre Finance & Operations Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations related to customer loan settlements, including managing daily settlements, funding and drawdowns, loan administration, and supporting year-end reporting activities.
You will also play a key role in analysing and refining customer pricing strategies, making prior experience in product pricing an essential requirement.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in driving process improvements and will bring a strong technical accounting foundation. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role requires close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pricing optimisation by enhancing internal processes and developing frameworks that improve the business's ability to understand, analyse, and optimise product and fund pricing.
- Play a strategic role in supporting the execution of group-wide initiatives aimed at driving growth and operational efficiency.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management reporting to support commercial decision-making across the business.
- Manage financial planning activities, including preparing budgets and forecasts that track performance and support strategic objectives.
- Ensure timely and compliant settlement funding, including overseeing daily approvals and coordinating regular drawdowns.
- Support finance operations by overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Maintain and monitor the finance calendar, ensuring all key reporting deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Prepare and reconcile daily cashbooks to facilitate accurate cash flow management.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance in line with the organisation's Finance Process Guide.
- Provide proactive finance support to internal and external stakeholders, helping customers achieve their finance-related goals.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience in financial product pricing (essential), ideally within funds, lending, or structured finance.
- Background in financial services, with exposure to areas such as funds management, lending, treasury, securitisation, or investment operations.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decisions.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management and the ability to deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
- Thrives in a dynamic, high-growth setting, bringing energy, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to evolving business needs.
- Commercially astute and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

- Experience within Funds and product pricing is essential.

- They operate a hybrid work model of 2-3 days in their CBD office.
