About the role:
We’re looking for a part-time Experienced Bookkeeper (16-24 hours per week across 2-3 days) to keep our financial operations running smoothly across our three departments: PICHA Projects (Signage), Made by PICHA (Activations), and PICHA Industries (Procurement).

About you:
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, organised, and will help us make informed decisions. You’ll fit right in if you:
- Have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a medium-sized business.
- Are highly proficient in Xero (certifications preferred).
- Have strong experience in accounts reconciliation, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally.
- Are a natural problem-solver who loves making things run smoothly
- Can work independently but also know how to collaborate and have a laugh with the team
- Have full working rights in Australia (we can’t offer sponsorship for this role)
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Reconciliations – Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank accounts.
- Payroll Processing – Manage weekly payroll, superannuation, and ensure compliance.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process invoices, manage creditor and debtor accounts, and follow up on payments when needed.
- Intercompany Accounting – Manage intercompany transactions between PICHA Projects, PICHA Industries, and Made by PICHA to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- BAS and Compliance – Assist in preparing and lodging BAS, ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
- New Employee Setup – Assist with payroll setup, superannuation, and onboarding documentation.
- Financial Reporting – Generate reports that provide clear insights for decision-making.
- Client & Supplier Communication – Be the go-to person for account-related queries.
- Software Management – Work primarily in Xero, with some use of Microsoft Officed
