Responsibilities:
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
• Train, mentor, and coach sales staff to enhance their performance and customer service skills
• Monitor sales metrics and analyse data to identify areas for improvement
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to ensure team cohesion and productivity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and work effectively with department managers, Dealer Principal and Financial Controller
• Review, report and oversee all enquiries daily and marketing activity
• Ensure our DMS and Salesperson logs are updated daily
• Control and manage our inventory with strict adherence on our days’ supply objectives.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Knowledge of Ford, Hyundai or Volkswagen vehicles would be highly regarded but not essential.
