Assistant Sales Manager - Luxury Vehicles - Melbourne

Our client is a luxury vehicle dealership located in Melboiurne. They are seeking a hands on, selling Assistant Sales Manager to oversee their sales operations in this highly prestigious new vehicle franchise . The role is ideally suited to a very strong sales consultant looking for a step up in their career.

Job Responsibilities

To help oversee the day to day operations of the Sales Department including the preparation of monthly management reports, overseeing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.

Identify and prospect new retail customers from within our primary marketing area

Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes

Build rapport, forming long term business relationships

Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect through to delivery.; and assist less experienced sales consultants

Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance

Attend various business and industry events as required.

Experience

Previous Automotive Sales experience essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment

Previous Automotive Sales Management experience preferred, but NOT essential.

Sound administrative and organisational skill sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department

Exceptional communication skills

Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases

highly professional approach, together with a proven strong work ethic

Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets
