Our customer, is one of the largest Bathroom and Kitchen products retailer, with showrooms and warehouses located in North Rocks. Their business spans NSW, VIC, QLD, and Auckland. For the past 14 years, they have been serving a diverse clientele including end customers, builders, plumbers, designers, and construction companies. They pride themselves on a corporate culture that values people, mutual respect, optimism, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
They are looking for a Showroom Care & Admin Officer to join their team at our North Rocks showroom. This is a non-sales position, focusing on showroom care, maintenance and light administrative duties. While you will report to the Admin Team, your day-to-day work will take place in the showroom environment.
The ideal candidate is responsible, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping the space clean, functional and welcoming. You'll also play a key role in updating displays, and assisting with admin tasks related to showroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the upkeep and daily operations of the showroom to ensure a professional, inviting appearance.
• Collaborate with the design team when new products arrive, helping translate display concepts into physical setups.
• Take ownership of display coordination: communicate display needs, review layouts, and manage final visual presentation.
• Make small adjustments to showroom displays when necessary (e.g. fixing labels, repositioning items, updating signage).
• Occasionally assist with spot-cleaning if needed, but general cleaning is handled by the professional cleaning team.
• Liaise closely with Sales, Admin, and Design teams to ensure the showroom supports business needs.
• Provide light administrative support related to showroom coordination (e.g. documentation, display logs).
• Keep track of display items, signage, and samples within the showroom.
Skills & Requirements:
▪ Previous experience in admin, or showroom maintenance preferred.
▪ Reliable, self-motivated, and attentive to details.
▪ A team player with good internal communication skills.
▪ Comfortable using computers and basic office tools.
▪ Basic English written communication skills (for updating signs, labels, etc.).
▪ Passion for interiors, organization, or customer space presentation.
