They are committed to excellence in financial operations and are seeking a skilled Accounts Officer to join their finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong attention to detail, who thrives in managing financial transactions, payroll, and bookkeeping in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping & Data Management – Maintain accurate financial records, process invoice entries in Xero, and ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Bank Reconciliation – Perform regular reconciliations of bank transactions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Accounts Payable Management – Process and manage timely payments to vendors.
• Accounts Receivable Support – While AR duties are minimal, collaborate with the sales team on outstanding balances when required.
• Payroll Processing – Administer and process weekly payroll, including OT calculations, superannuation contributions, and PAYG withholding.
• Superannuation & Compliance – Handle employee superannuation contributions and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.
• BAS Reporting & Tax Compliance – Assist with BAS reporting and submission, ensuring compliance with ATO regulations.
• Financial Oversight – Conduct daily payment checks, maintain Excel-based internal financial records, and provide regular financial insights.
• Revenue Reporting – Support revenue tracking and reporting to enhance financial visibility and operational decision-making.
• Financial Review & Adjustments – Assist in reviewing and adjusting financial data in Xero, in coordination with senior finance team members.

Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar finance role.
• Strong proficiency in Xero.
• Hands-on experience in payroll processing, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Australian tax and compliance regulations.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and data entry skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial record maintenance and reporting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.
• Candidates with Chinese proficiency will be preferred.
