Are you looking for the opportunity to showcase your superior management skills in an environment where you have the freedom to run your branch?

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Manager to join our Townsville team. You will need to have strong initiative paired with a robust work ethic and the ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment.

Flexihire is a rapidly growing machinery hire company spanning 18 branches across QLD & NSW. Our 100% Australian owned and operated business focuses on providing outstanding equipment hire services and solutions since 1978. We provide modern, well maintained hire equipment at a competitive price to suit all our customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities for the role involve;

  • Leading, inspiring, and managing a team of people
  • Directing and facilitating branch performance to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Contribute to regional performance as a fundamental member of the Flexihire management team
  • Support and delivery of operational and sales strategies
  • Nurturing skills and capabilities of team members
  • Ensuring all internal processes are executed soundly
  • Ensuring stock keeping strategies are conducted
  • Assist with Asset Management

Required Skills should include;

  • Proven staff management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a variety of clerical and administration processes
  • Highly developed verbal, written and telephone communications skills
  • An adaptable personality to a fast-paced environment
  • Tactful conflict resolution strategies
  • Intermediate to advanced competency with various software applications
  • Reinforced business mindset and ability to make sound, logical decisions in time critical situations
  • Strong customer focus and capacity to service key accounts
  • Fortified organisational and strategising abilities
