We are currently looking for an enthusiastic "people person" to join our team in Fairfield, assisting the Branch Manager with all aspects of daily running of our builder's equipment hire branch.
This role will suit someone with experience or interest in hands-on activities and enjoys variety, moving between desk and active work.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong customer service ethic.
Additional training in new or unfamiliar equipment will be provided for a candidate willing and able to learn.

About you:
You have a strong customer service ethic and enjoy solving problems
You are able to communicate vital information efficiently while maintaining a personable demeanour
You enjoy being challenged in a fast paced environment
You are enthusiastic and self motivated
You take pride in earning responsibility as part of building a meaningful career
A current driver's licence is essential with a good record. Any other training required will be organised, paid and arranged for the right candidate.
Existing basic mechanical knowledge and some builder's equipment knowledge would also be well regarded.

The role:
Dealing directly with customers, this busy and varied role will include:
Understanding and solving customer equipment requirements
Instructing and advising on equipment operation
Liaising with the workshop and other team members to ensure equipment is available
Assisting with preparing equipment for hire, or delivering equipment
Administration of hire contracts
Working with management to improve the business.
This is a full time salary position 5 days per week:
