About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team at Status Residential. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment, with an attractive salary and great benefits.

As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and authorised
• Assisting with ad hoc financial projects as required
• Working with MYOB (experience highly regarded)
• Supporting payroll, BAS preparation, and other accounting duties

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Analytical, well-organised, and detail-oriented
• A process-driven accounting professional with a strategic, big-picture approach
• Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and eager to grow in their career
• Familiar with the building industry (preferred but not essential)
