Founded in WA in 2018, we have experienced phenomenal growth, expanding to a team of 150+ staff and contractors across WA, QLD, NSW, SA, VIC, and ACT. And what's most exciting, is that we're only getting started! We're now searching for an experienced and professional Assistant Accountant to join our finance team.

About the Position

This full-time position will see you working closely with the finance team, including a Payroll + Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistants, a Senior Accountant, a Financial Controller, and the Chief Financial Officer. The position is in-house, based at our Osborne Park head office.

You will support the finance function and accounting needs of the business, engaging with teams across servicing, installs, sales, and administration. The specifics of the role include, but are not limited to:

Managing accounts payable processes, including purchase order processing and effective communication with suppliers.

Overseeing accounts receivable, including invoice reviews and recording of cash receipts.

Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.

Reviewing and reporting on bi-monthly payroll processes & commission calculations, acting as the back-up payroll officer when required.

Assisting with month-end reports.

Ad-hoc finance duties as required.

About You

We're seeking a driven professional with:

A tertiary qualification in accounting and ideally progressing towards CPA accreditation.

Previous experience in a similar position is essential.

Strong working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Dext, or similar.

Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong work ethic, with a track record of reliability and high-performance.

Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with staff, suppliers, and clients at all levels.

Outstanding organisation and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
