About the Client: Our client is a leading Building & Property Development company dedicated to creating high-quality residential and commercial spaces. They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to join their team for an exciting multi-stage development project in Melbourne's south east, featuring apartment buildings, townhouses, and parklands.

Position Overview: As the Site Manager, you will oversee the construction of multiple 6-level apartment buildings, each with 2 levels of basement car parking. Imagine leading a team of supervisors to bring to life modern, sophisticated residential towers that will become a landmark in the community. The next stage involves the construction of two similar 6-level towers with basements. In later stages, you will oversee the development of charming townhouses and lush parklands, creating a vibrant and welcoming neighborhood. This is a long-term project with a total duration of 7 years, and they are currently 18 months into the timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site activities for the project.
• Lead a team of supervisors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the construction of 6-level apartment buildings with basement car parking.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Plan and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in large-scale residential construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial architectural and engineering plans.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing construction projects valued at $70 million or more.
