An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established and growing construction and property development company. With a strong portfolio of high-quality residential and mixed-use developments, this organisation is committed to delivering innovative, sustainable, and premium projects across Brisbane.

About the Role

This role offers the chance to take the lead on large-scale, multi-apartment developments, with project values ranging from $25 million to $55 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight – Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring smooth project delivery.

Team Leadership – Lead and mentor site teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Quality & Safety – Enforce rigorous quality control measures and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Stakeholder Communication – Act as the key on-site contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication.

Problem Solving – Identify potential challenges and implement proactive solutions to maintain timelines and efficiency.

Project Coordination – Work closely with Project Managers and other departments to align construction, design, and engineering processes.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in site management within the construction industry, with a proven track record managing large-scale residential and mixed-use projects.

Project Expertise: Experience delivering projects valued between $25 million and $55 million+.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in construction safety and quality management will be advantageous.
