Our client is a respected co-educational independent school situated in Melbourne's Western suburbs, catering to students from Foundation through to Year 12. With a vibrant student body of over 2,000 and a dedicated team of more than 300 staff, this school delivers a broad and engaging curriculum. In addition to its main campus, the school operates two additional campuses and a camp facility, offering students a variety of enriching educational experiences.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced individual to manage the daily operations of several key administrative departments, including Front Office, IT, Library, Human Resources, Transport, First Aid, and Occupational Health & Safety. You will lead and support these departments, ensuring seamless operations that align with the school's strategic goals, academic programs, and administrative needs. Additionally, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing policies, improvement plans, and procedures across each department, while integrating innovative technologies to boost efficiency. Ensuring compliance with educational guidelines and regulatory standards will also be a key aspect of the role. You will play a critical role in addressing and resolving any administrative challenges that arise across the various teams.
Skills/Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT management, administration, and front office operations within the education sector.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital learning platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
