We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our wine bar. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, enhancing the guest experience, managing staff, and ensuring the venue runs smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of front-of-house and bar staff.
• Constant communication with the kitchen, assisting with the delivery of menu updates and quality control.
• Constant communication with functions co-ordinator, providing assistance with any enquiries and delivering on premium functions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
• Manage rosters, recruitment, training, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, including budgeting and reporting.
• Collaborate with marketing and events teams to promote the venue.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or assistant Venue Manager in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A solid knowledge of wine, cocktails, and premium service standards.
• Financial experience in budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
