About the role
We are seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our dedicated team at Gratis Recruitment in Taperoo, South Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the rostering of our aged support staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain detailed staff rosters to meet client needs and business requirements
- Liaise with team members to understand their availability and preferences, and accommodate these where possible
- Respond to last-minute changes and roster adjustments, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new support workers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of rostering processes and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to team members on rostering-related matters
- Ensure all rostering activities comply with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a rostering or scheduling role, preferably within the aged care sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise competing demands
- Proficient in using rostering and scheduling software, Visual Care
- Experience using administrative office systems, procedures and equipment - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting the aged and disabled community
