We are seeking a dedicated and organised NDIS Rostering Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating staff schedules to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will work closely with staff, participants, and families to ensure efficient rostering that meets participant needs while adhering to compliance standards.

About You:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check (NDISWC)
  • NDIS Work Orientation Module Certificate
  • Competent in using the Microsoft office suite (outlook, excel and word)
  • Experience in disability or the health industry preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in either scheduling or rostering is highly regarded.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Empathetic approach with a participant-focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Team player with a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the rostering of staff in line with Alongside Support’s participants service needs.
  • Plan, forecast and manage workforce planning requirements: this will include roster changes, leave and absence planning.
  • Working with support workers to ensure the participant support requirements are understood and carried out in line with their Service Agreement and support profile.
  • Working with support workers to ensure their employment compliance is up to date.
  • Assist with maintaining ongoing relationships with the participants and ensure staff are regularly updated on participants goals progress/changes to service provisions and client profiles are updated as required.
  • Assist the Intake Coordinator to manage participant referrals, match support workers with participants and build participant profiles as directed by the Intake Coordinator.
  • General administration duties.
  • Other duties as required by company director.
