Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Community Aged Care and Disability Rostering Coordinator. This full-time, Monday to Friday, in-office role will play a key part in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of support services, enabling our clients to live independently and enjoy a high quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Rostering and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain accurate rosters for community aged care and disability support services.
- Efficiently allocate resources based on client needs, staff availability, location and service requirements.
- Ensure timely communication of schedules to clients, support staff, and other relevant stakeholders.
Client Engagement:
- Liaise with clients, relevant internal/external departments and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
- Proactively address scheduling conflicts and changes, providing timely solutions and updates.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to enhance their overall experience with our services.
Staff Management:
- Collaborate with the line manager and rostering manager to assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new support staff.
- Monitor staff availability, preferences, and skills to optimise scheduling.
- Provide ongoing support and communication to staff regarding roster changes and updates.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in rostering and scheduling activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client schedules, staff availability, and other relevant information.
- Refer to process manual and provide feedback for continuous improvement to line managers.
- Monitor and refer any incoming communications to relevant departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience desirable in rostering or scheduling, preferably in the aged care or disability support sector.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in rostering software and Microsoft Office applications.
