Successful candidates will play a lead role in motivating the teams to maintain consistent order fulfillment and problem solve when required. With a focus on workplace, health and safety practices and proven ability in directing and coordinating warehouse operations, this organisation is looking for someone who is committed to the business, their team and operating safely at all times.

Scope:

• Managing the receival, warehousing and dispatch of product for both internal and external stakeholders;
• Overseeing stock holdings, fleet and pallet inventory;
• Providing detailed reporting (inventory, logistics etc) and upholding data management;
• Management of 5-8 direct reports across a wider team of 20 personnel (FTE + casual contingent);
• Ensuring operational, safety and environment standards are maintained;

Success Profile:

• Proven experience in warehouse management within manufacturing / FMCG and importantly Frozen/Chilled/Cold environments (mandatory);
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics;
• Exemplary internal and external stakeholder management skill set;
• Ability to lift (up to 20kgs), willingness to work in chilled environments to perform the inherent requirements of this physical role + ability to undergo PEM + Drug + Alcohol testing;
• Hold a current drivers licence and forklift ticket;
• Willingness to work Monday – Friday day shift (salaried);
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with export loading requirements;
