The Lucky Squire delivers a world class food and beverage experience across two levels, highlighted by wood fired cooking, two large bars, a 100-seat restaurant and an unbelievable 350+ outdoor dining/bar area. With sustainability and quality of produce in mind, The Lucky Squire will source the highest-quality, freshest ingredients from local suppliers, to produce exceptional restaurant meals and bar snacks from its wood fired kitchen.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our amazing team. Reporting to an accomplished management team, this role is highly visible and requires someone who thrives in a busy and demanding venue. Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Venue Manager to implement the best customer experience - every day;
- Manage and oversee the venue operations on a daily basis – nights, weekends and public holidays included in the roster;
- Lead and manage bar and restaurant staff through service periods and closing;
- Drive a spirit of enthusiasm and success, without losing sight of fun along the way;
- Apply sound business acumen to optimise the running of the venue, including the management of security and entertainment through weekend trading
What we need:
A manager with demonstrated experience gained in large, high volume pub environments. Strong communication and organisation skills, underpinned by a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.
We are looking for a friendly and innovative team player with a combination of the following:
- A naturally friendly and engaging personality
- Impeccable presentation and an ability to connect with people
- Strong knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
- A genuine desire to nurture and develop people in the team
- Positive attitude, initiative, with strong communication skills and work ethic
- Consistently deliver a high level of customer service
- RSA, RMLV and Approved Managers License
