About the role

As a Duty Manager at the Parade Hotel, you will play a vital role along with our venue manager ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this iconic establishment. Overseeing the hotel during your shifts, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, supervising the team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a casual position based in our East Bunbury location.

What you'll be doing

• During shifts working on the floor and co-ordinating staff and daily operations of the hotel
• Opening and closing the venue and ensuring tight security on cash handling and stock control
• Able to work under pressure, multi tasking with a smile ,handling guest enquiries, complaints, incidents that may arise.
• Lead the FOH team with motivation, enthusiasm ,inspiration
• Assisting with training and development to build a motivated and skilled team
• Providing support and leadership to the hotel management team as required

What we're looking for

• A strong happy team player role whom interacts with our team and guests with attention
• Proven experience in a Duty Manager or similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with guests, staff and management
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Knowing all aspects of operating a hospitality business isn't vital, we are happy to train and guide you along the way !
