The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Hydratight's business unit. This role requires a leader who is highly focused on improving operational efficiency, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the team is equipped with the right tools and skills to deliver the highest quality service to our clients. The Operations Manager will also work closely with senior leadership to drive business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
What will you do:

Operational Leadership:
o
Oversee and manage all operational activities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business unit.
o
Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
o
Ensure the team adheres to all company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
o
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement corrective actions where needed.

Team Management & Development:
o
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Provide guidance and support to direct reports, including training and performance management.
o
Conduct regular team meetings, foster open communication, and ensure alignment with business goals.
o
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and meet client demands.

Project & Resource Management:
o
Ensure that projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
o
Oversee the allocation of resources for project execution and support the team in achieving project milestones.
o
Coordinate with other departments (sales, engineering, procurement, etc.) to ensure operational alignment and seamless project delivery.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:
o
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
o
Address and resolve any operational issues, client complaints, or quality concerns promptly and professionally.
o
Act as a liaison between operations and senior management to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
o
Lead initiatives to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies within operations.
o
Evaluate and adopt new technologies or practices that can drive operational excellence and enhance service delivery.
o
Stay current on industry trends and best practices, bringing innovative solutions to the table.

Budget & Financial Oversight:
o
Assist in the preparation and management of the operational budget.
o
Monitor operational expenses, manage cost-saving initiatives, and ensure profitability targets are met.
o
Provide regular financial and operational reports to senior leadership.
What makes you an ideal candidate:

Education:
o
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Experience:
o
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the engineering, manufacturing, or offshore sectors.
o
Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, driving operational efficiency, and delivering results.
o
Experience in project management and resource allocation.

Skills:
o
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
o
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o
In-depth knowledge of operations management, business processes, and financial management.
o
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
o
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
o
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Certifications (preferred but not required):
o
NEBOSH or other relevant safety qualifications.
o
PMP or other project management certifications.
o
Any relevant technical or industry-specific certifications.
Additional Information:

Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients or visit operational sites.

The role may involve managing a rotating schedule or shift-based work depending on client requirements.
