We are partnering with a fast-growing client in the retail sector, looking for an Operations Manager with a strong background in product management and generalist marketing.
Description
Operational Management:
Oversee and optimise daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes across all departments. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve resource management.
Product Management:
Work closely with the product team to manage product lifecycles, from concept through to launch, ensuring that products meet customer needs and align with the overall business strategy.
Marketing Support:
Provide foundational marketing support, assisting with campaign execution, creating go-to-market strategies, and ensuring the successful promotion of retail products across various channels.
Collaboration Across Teams:
Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that operational and product strategies are aligned and executed seamlessly.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for operational improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high product quality.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Leverage data and metrics to track product performance and operational success, making informed decisions to optimise both product development and marketing efforts.
Profile
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in an operations role, with significant exposure to product management and a general understanding of marketing principles, preferably within a retail or consumer goods environment.
Product Management:
Proven experience managing product lifecycles, collaborating with teams to define product features, and delivering successful products to market.
Marketing Knowledge:
Solid understanding of general marketing strategies, including digital marketing, product positioning, and campaign management.
Leadership:
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical Mindset:
Ability to analyse data and generate insights that drive operational improvements and product success.
