Role Responsibilities:

• To lead operational excellence across Australian and New Zealand operations by managing daily activities, enhancing efficiency, and implementing streamlined processes to optimise productivity
• To evaluate performance against business goals, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• To lead and mentor staff, cultivate a positive work environment, and create a high-performance culture while conducting regular performance evaluations and supporting ongoing professional development
• To collaborate with the wider team overseeing procurement, inventory, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery
• Negotiate with suppliers and oversee logistics operations to ensure high-quality standards are achieved
• To monitor and maintain operational standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Oversee financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation to meet business goals
• To work closely with other departments to achieve operational goals
• To develop and implement initiatives to improve operational performance, identifying challenges and applying strategic solutions to streamline workflows and improve customer satisfaction

Skills you will need:
Essential:

• A bachelor's degree qualification in operations management, business administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in an operational role, successfully demonstrating operational efficiency
• Expertise in supply chain management and logistics
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to analyse data, make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Highly organised, able to work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities efficiently
• A team player who can work collaboratively across the business to drive positive outcomes
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Proficient IT skills and confidence in project management and operational software/tools

Desirable:

• A knowledge and understanding of agriculture and livestock
