Mackay Regional Council are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer/Operator to join our team based at the Paget Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage assets, and other civil infrastructure in the beautiful region of Mackay.
About this opportunity:
To carry out labouring and plant and truck operation duties associated with maintenance and construction of roads and drainage assets, or other associated civil infrastructure under the general supervision of a supervisor or leading hand.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
- Current QLD Manual Car 'C' Class Open Driver's Licence.
- Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck 'HR' Class Licence or ability to obtain
- License/tickets to operate road construction plant and/or equipment - minimum of 2 from skid steer loader, roller, loader, backhoe, grader.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
