A permanent position has arisen for an Accounts Payable officer working for a top tier construction company based in Sydney. Reporting in to the Finance Manager you will play an integral position as part of the finance team in the recording and payment of all the purchases and expense transactions.

About The Role: Accounts all-rounder

• Check and maintain supplier master files.
• Invoice maintenance and processing experience required.
• Ensure each supplier statement is reconciled before running weekly and monthly payments
• Reconciliation of all bank accounts, including company accounts, debt accounts and credit cards
• Petty cash maintenance

The successful candidate will have the following:

• At least two years of experience as accounts payable officer
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Extensive experience in reconciling accounts
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Jobpac is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Excel
• Experience in the construction/property development industry is beneficial.
