Your Opportunity
Are you a proactive and well-organized professional with effective communication skills and time management? Mission Australia is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to provide top-tier support to the State Director.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning and managing priorities, coordinating meetings and events, and leading continuous improvement initiatives for the State Director . Join us in making a meaningful impact in the community through dedicated and effective administration support.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide varied and complex administrative support, managing the diary/events and communication for the State Director
- Organise office activities and coordinate the flow of communications
- Undertake administrative duties that require applying specialised skills and knowledge on organisational programs, policies and activities
- Liaise with key contacts in government departments and external Stakeholders
- Develop and produce a range of correspondence including presentations, submissions and reports
- Undertake research, assembling and analysing data to prepare reports and papers as requested
- Monitor and report on monthly financial activity for the State Director if required
Requirements for Success
- Over 5 years of experience in providing executive support in a similar sized organisation
- Excellent critical & creative thinking and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, trouble-shoot and to meet critical deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage workloads and time sensitive issues
- Experience with financial systems and procedures, including accounts payable
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualifications in business administration or related discipline
- Excellent knowledge and high proficiency, using current office technology, equipment, and computer software packages such as the Microsoft Office Suite
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
