We’re a global actor with a local presence with committed engineers working across the country. Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.

QR_ is currently expending its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead improvements in Quality standards and practices
• Identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Support design reviews and advise on product manufacturability
• Preparing audit reports summarising quality issues outlining improvement plans
• Setting and tracking QA targets
• Monitoring and identifying non-conformance and proposing corrective solutions

Must have:

• Relevant Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, Quality, etc.)
• Experience working with Quality management systems and standards
• 3+ years' experience working as a Quality Engineer or similar within the manufacturing industry
• Ability to obtain or have an Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1 Preferable)
• Ability to collaborate with the rest of the team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience driving APQP processes for product development and production

Nice to have:

• Experience using ERP systems for Quality management
• Experience coordinating quality teams
• Experience owning the technical documentation related to the project
