We’re currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a highly reputable client of ours to maintain and improve on their Quality Management Systems to ensure products and services meet standards, regulatory requirements and customer satisfaction. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and encourage teams to foster a culture of quality excellence and adherence to compliance.
The role:
- Lead, maintain and improve quality systems to ensure quality and compliance measure to meet standards and client expectations
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance of set standards
- Report and maintain quality performance such as process, defects and customer complaints ensuring solutions are identify to reduce risk
- Analyse quality data, root cause and trends to prevent quality defects and non conformance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all quality, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage the external audit process to ensure compliance and accreditation requirements are met
- Lead and manage through to completion all continuous improvement initiatives ensuring collaboration with all departments and external stakeholders
- Develop training programs on quality process, procedure and staff to ensure a quality culture is maintained within the company
- Support internal and external stakeholders to improve quality
What we're looking for:
- Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant level of experience commensurate with the role.
- Six Sigma or equivalent (desirable)
- Extensive experience with developing and maintaining quality systems, process improvement and compliance in a mining, industrial or manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management methodologies
- Ability to lead teams and work with people at all levels
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience with reviewing data and root cause analysis process
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new systems)
- Strong safety focus
- Strong communicator
- Highly organised and a self starter
