We are specialists in growing and processing baby leaf salads, cos and herbs for supermarket chains (both domestic & international), independent retail, local restaurants, and major fresh produce markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, and Fresh Care standards.
• Act as the site SQF Practitioner, maintaining certification and preparing for audits.
• Develop and review quality systems, SOPs, and GMP programs.
• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain product quality and safety.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor and report on compliance performance to management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager or SQF Practitioner in a food processing or farming environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and Australian food safety regulations.
• Accredited in SQF, HACCP, and Internal Auditing.
• Experience in fresh produce or food manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in Food Science or Quality Assurance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• A team player with a commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
