We are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a dynamic corporate team on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. If you have extensive experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees and are proficient in SAP or MS Dynamics or Workforce, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage payroll queries and ensure employee data is up-to-date
• Handle ad-hoc payments and payroll-related documentation
• Conduct month-end and year-end processes
• Prepare detailed reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Ensure compliance with legislation, including taxation, superannuation, and industrial agreements
• Support payroll system maintenance and process improvements
• Mentor and support less experienced payroll team members
• Foster a customer service-focused, collaborative team environment

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' payroll experience in a large, complex environment
• Proven Australian experience managing payroll for 1500+ employees
• SAP or MS Dynamics experience (bonus)
• Expertise in payroll legislation and compliance
• Advanced Excel and Time and Attendance (T&A) system skills
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing complex reports
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
