ABOUT THE COMPANY.

A South-Western Sydney Local Council is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to assist with the day to day responsibilities of the payroll team. Part-time opportunity: 5 hours a day, 5 days a week - 25 hours per week. Working hours flexible.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

Immediate start. An initial 12-month opportunity with strong likelihood of extension and transitioning into a more stable position. Your will be assisting in duties to coordinate and produce a timely and accurate payroll in addition to responding to complicated payroll enquiries.

DUTIES.

• Process payroll functions (end-to-end)
• Process weekly & fortnightly payroll for staff
• Month-end & year-end reporting
• Direct super payments
• Responding to complicated payroll enquiries from customers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Proficiency with Chris21 highly preferred
• Experience with a Local Council is highly desirable
• High level of attention to detail & simple problem solving skills

REMUNERATION.

$50 p/h + Super
