About the role

As an Account Executive with Birdeye Australia, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and sales for our leading SaaS product. This is a full-time, hybrid role located in Sydney, NSW. You will be working with a collaborative and supportive team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve ambitious commercial goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and goals, and position our product as the ideal solution
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contract terms and close new business deals
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of sales activity and accurately forecast revenue
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective lead generation strategies
  • Provide valuable feedback to the product team to help enhance our offering

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a new business development or sales role, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with a consultative sales approach
  • Highly motivated and driven, with a competitive yet collaborative working style
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales automation tools
