Established in 1975, our client is a family owned and operated Australian company dedicated to excellence in all aspects of architectural hardware and security solutions. They are Australia’s largest specialist manufacturer of architectural door hardware, and associated products for the construction industry. They sell high quality window & door hardware to commercial and domestic aluminium window fabricators, timber window manufacturers and joiners, balustrading / security door / shower screen manufacturers and frameless glass & glazing companies. Their products include (but aren't limited to):

  • Commercial & Residential hardware; mortice locks, levers, flush pulls, springs & hinges
  • Electronic hardware; locks, strikes etc.

They have an established database comprising of over 200+ hundreds clients in Sydney alone and are offering an exciting opportunity for a fun, customer focused and hard working person to join their sales team in Sydney. Their headquarters are based in Sydney's Southern Suburbs.

OPPORTUNITY

Due to growth, our client is seeking an Account Manager responsible for the continued growth and development of the business based on the road, from home with occasional visitation to the office located in Sydney's Southern Suburbs. You'll be calling on fabrication companies and manufacturers of window & door products, selling components & hardware that make up the finished product. You primary accountabilities include:

  • Successful management and development of allocated territory,
  • Meeting and exceeding sales objectives and KPI's,
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers,
  • Timely and accurate reporting, and
  • The ability to work autonomously, (will include some regional travel) from your home base.

CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, we want to see candidates coming from the Windows & Doors industry. You might be looking to get off the tools , or out of an operations role, in fabrication, or glazing or perhaps you're looking progress your career in sales in the Window & Doors sector. As part of your previous role, you may have had previous dealings with suppliers of commercial door hardware. Knowledge of door hardware is considered highly desirable. You don't have to be selling to the wholesale / fabrication sector though, anyone that's selling Windows, or Doors to builders or consumers would be considered for the role.
