Based in the Brisbane CBD, this well-established Law Firm is expanding and looking to appoint an experienced Office Administrator/Receptionist to their friendly, professional team. With a focus on general office support coupled with ensuring all clients, including new enquiries, are looked after with the highest level of client service this role is a key part of the Firm’s day to day operations.
About the Role
This role is responsible for ensuring all office administration work, including reception is handled professionally, efficiently and accurately. You will also support some legal teams from time to time with general administration tasks.
In this role your key responsible are:
- Answering the main phone
- Keeping records of calls and enquirers
- Greeting clients, Barrister’s and Visitors
- Offering water and coffee to clients/visitors
- Ensuring meeting rooms are set up and cleaned before and after every meeting
- Managing shared inboxes
- Passing calls through to relevant teams
- Legal administration support including following up clients, specialists and other parties for information
- Following system workflows
- Collection of mail
- Scanning mail and delivering to teams
- Court filling
- Mailing and franking
- General office administration tasks
- Maintenance of office supplies
Working closely with lawyers and management this role will interact with all areas of the Firm to ensure a high level of client focus and administrative support is maintained at all times.
About You

- Possess great written and verbal communication skills
- Have an excellent phone manner with the ability to communicate proactively, clearly and confidently to individuals from a variety of backgrounds
- Are a team player who is proactive and motivated to assist the team
- Display good time management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Have fast and accurate typing skills
- Are comfortable and proficient with technology, including the Microsoft Office suite
- Are well presented in professional attire
- Possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work
- Have previous office administration experience

With a focus on helping everyday Queenslanders, this firm operates across a variety of legal areas including family & estates, property, business, criminal and compensation law. Located in Brisbane CBD within an easy walking distance of central train station, they offer a friendly work environment, social events and opportunities for growth and development. This role is based in our CBD office and will work between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
