Reception & Administration position for a leading sports club

Founded in 2003, Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) is South Australia’s only professional football club. The Club competes in A-league Men’s and Women’s competitions and the National Premier Leagues SA.

About the Position:
The Reception & Administration Officer is vital in the delivery of the quality customer service Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) aims to achieve. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members, visitors, staff and other stakeholders who engage with the club via phone, email or in person at the AUFC Office.

This role is anticipated to work 22.5 hours across Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This is preferred however can be slightly flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service both over the phone, via email and face to face
  • Answering inbound calls
  • Making outbound calls
  • Performing administrative support tasks including mail distribution, banking and ordering office supplies
  • General assistance to the membership & ticketing team
  • Assisting with member enquiries & selling memberships
  • Follow up membership queries and payments
  • Processing merchandise orders and payments
  • General Administration and Data Entry

About You:
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

  • 1- 2 years prior experience in a customer facing role with excellent customers service skills
  • Enjoys diversity in role and helping out where needed
  • A team member who is collaborative and encourages those around them to achieve the absolute best for the organisation
  • Enjoys operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Honest and positive individual with a natural enthusiasm and energy
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
