Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Limited (GAPDL) has an organisational Vision to “Advance the Gladstone Region through the promotion and development of business, industry and tourism for the benefit of our members and the community”.

GAPDL is seeking to appoint a full-time Marketing Specialist to assist GAPDL achieve it's Vision and Corporate Aims through various brand promotion activities, projects, event marketing, and community engagement.

About the job:

Your role will encompass a range of marketing, content creation, branding and business administration activities for the organisation, including:

• Content and copy
• Printed collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, guides and manuals)
• Videos (reels and promotional short videos)
• Social media channel planning and management
• Email signatures, banners and graphics
• Website graphics, content management and maintenance

• Developing and design quality marketing and publicity graphics/collateral including
• Creating and executing marketing campaigns for the Gladstone Region generally, as well as for special events and activities
• Coordinating and designing the annual Gladstone Region Visitor Guide and Maps
• Providing regular updates and communications to GAPDL members to enhance engagement
• Facilitating the monthly reports to the CEO and Board of Directors

About you:

You are a passionate marketer, who enjoys using their creativity, technical and wordsmithing talents to engage and attract audiences.

• Formal qualifications in marketing or a similar discipline (essential)
• Graphic design competence (preferred)
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a related role
• Proven ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as autonomously to effectively achieve positive outcomes
