We have an opportunity for you to join our company in Rockhampton as a Finance Administrator. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes across various company sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account Reconciliation: Execute timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts, ensuring financial records are consistently updated and aligned.
- End-of-Month (EOM) and End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) Support: Collaborate in the reconciliation and reporting processes for EOM and EOFY.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing insights and analyses to support decision making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Administration: Administer the invoicing, payment processing, and collections for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Payroll Administration: Support payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments while adhering to compliance requirements and relevant regulations.
- General Administration: Undertake a variety of administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as needed to support the finance team and enhance operational efficiency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Either degree qualified or studying towards
- 1 - 3 years experience in finance roles with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge and understanding of financial principles and experience in accounting systems
Experience working within tight timeframes under limited direction within a team environment.
