We have an opportunity for you to join our company in Rockhampton as a Finance Administrator. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes across various company sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account Reconciliation: Execute timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts, ensuring financial records are consistently updated and aligned.
  • End-of-Month (EOM) and End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) Support: Collaborate in the reconciliation and reporting processes for EOM and EOFY.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing insights and analyses to support decision making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Administration: Administer the invoicing, payment processing, and collections for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are conducted efficiently and accurately.
  • Payroll Administration: Support payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments while adhering to compliance requirements and relevant regulations.
  • General Administration: Undertake a variety of administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as needed to support the finance team and enhance operational efficiency.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Either degree qualified or studying towards
  • 1 - 3 years experience in finance roles with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial principles and experience in accounting systems

Experience working within tight timeframes under limited direction within a team environment.
