Manaaki Care is a registered NDIS service provider, delivering services in Newcastle, Maitland and Lake Macquarie areas.
Manaaki established for 3 years, require a part-time Coordinator of supports/finance assistance to manage the day-to-day office, NDIS and general administration challenges and opportunities.
2 days week with potential to increase hours/days.

- Handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Liaising with stakeholders and NDIS Participants.
- Business finance systems and operations.
- Accurately entering and managing data and information.
- Understanding and managing basic financial transactions and processes
- Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all compliance-related tasks and documentation.
- Ability to liaise and consult with colleagues and discussing service options for participants
- Provide guidance and assistance to staff and participants in implementing their NDIS plan
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
- Ability to problem-solving and apply critical thinking skills.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other basic computer programs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain good working relationships.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting participant rights and privacy.
- Basic understanding of disability-related health and safety practices.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and individual needs, ensuring inclusive and respectful care.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Prefer working autonomously on your own and maintaining professional boundaries.
- Previous experience in a similar role and industry (desirable)
- Basic knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant policies and regulations.
- Basic understanding of administrative and documentation processes.
- Familiarity with disability support practices and person-centered care.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
