Constantly evolving and always learning, we are searching for a motivated computer hardware technician to join our talented team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostics and troubleshooting on all IT hardware and software faults
- Repair and service of laptops/notebooks, desktops, PC devices
- Management of parts and inventory used for these repairs,
- Regular updating of job tickets, charges, and other details,
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstations, equipment, and tools,
- Front of house checking in of repairs and triage when required,
- Taking care of clients with understanding and patience,
- Configure, assemble and install desktop workstations and/or peripherals equipment and upgrades as required,
- Occasional pickup and drop off of parts and/or equipment,
- Answering phone calls and emails related to service enquiries and job status updates,
- Fulfil other duties as required by management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Laptops & Desktop hardware repairs
- Minimum 1 year experience in iPhone, iPad & Tablet repairs
- PC hardware repair experience is a must (Lenovo, Asus, HP etc)
- Mentioning experience in particular with ASUS or Lenovo is a “bonus”.
- Apple certification highly desirable
