We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Warranty Specialist who is ready to join a Global Leader in Powersport. You will be working closely with our Head Office team based in Melbourne and dealers across Australia and New Zealand and report to the National Service Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
The Technical Warranty Specialist plays a pivotal role in the business and you will be responsible to provide technical after-sales support to our dealer network.
What you will be responsible for:
• Provide help desk troubleshooting / resolution, or in-depth technical /expert product knowledge/ warranty support to dealers and customers
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical incidents through established procedures
• Open and maintain on line cases and may assist with escalated case resolution
• Resolve dealer / customer complaints within delegated authority level
• Identify and report technical incident trends
• Process dealer warranty authorisation requests
• Process warranty claims as required including warranty parts return, examination and disposal
What skills and experience is Required?
- Solid experience in the automotive industry with strong mechanic skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Passionate and knowledgeable about mechanical products
- Extensive technical experience in Off Road and On Road products and diagnostic systems
- Strong written and verbal skills, able to clearly articulate technical matters at basic and expert levels
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical product concerns
- Excellent conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritise workload during busy periods / can work effectively under pressure / deadlines
- Motorcycle licence (preferable)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and excellent computer literacy skills - MS Office/Windows
