The Position
The Accounts Payable Officer will deliver quality customer service by providing accurate processing of accounts payable in accordance with Council’s policies and procedures using a fully electronic purchasing and payment system. The Office will be efficient and effective in all of Councils procurement and store facilities and provide value add assistance to train and ensure compliance with council internal control systems and processes.

About You
You will have the ability to undertake accounts payable duties and have a proven ability to solve problems, implement system development and initiate improvements. You have previous accounts payable experience and the ability to work independently with little supervision to achieve set goals. You have strong communication skills and proven ability to function effectively within a team environment.
