On Thursday 12 May 2016, Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils merged into the new Central Coast Council. The Administrator of the new council is Ian Reynolds, with Rob Noble as the Chief Executive Officer. Central Coast Council has now adopted its first operational plan and budget, set to deliver over $540 million in essential services and $183 million on infrastructure for its growing community.
