About the Role:
Step into the essential role of Clinical Manager and oversee the clinical operations of our residential aged care facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to residents. You will conduct audits, analyse data, and implement improvements to enhance clinical practice and resident outcomes. Provide leadership in clinical risk management and guide accreditation activities to support safe, effective, and consumer-centred services.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain a model of care based on evidence and values, ensuring continuous quality improvement.
- Provide data and analysis to drive continuous improvement in consumer care.
- Identify and manage areas of clinical risk and lead appropriate responses to concerns about clinical outcomes or consumer wellbeing.
- Monitor, report, and action on Quality Measures and clinical KPIs to ensure compliance and meeting Sundale standards and star ratings.
- Drive and facilitate the provision of clinical and professional development for aged care team members.
- Conduct internal audits and provide support and education to all site team members to ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Encourage reporting of incidents and clinical safety issues using risk and incident management systems.
Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current CPR certificate.
- Experience in an aged care setting as a senior registered nurse.
- Experience in conducting audits and analysing data (desirable).
Essential Requirements:
- Current Queensland driver’s license
- Police Check
- Pre-employment medical assessment
