About us:
Emerald Hospital is located in the Central Highlands region of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) and is a 32-bed facility providing emergency, acute, ambulatory care services, perioperative, maternity services and mental health supported by a wide range of diagnostic, allied health and ancillary services.
About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is accountable at an advanced level for the leadership and management of the nursing team, which provides patient centred clinical care. The Nurse Unit Manager will work closely in a multidisciplinary model of care for the Ward, Ambulatory Services including Infusion Services and Hospital in the Home (HITH) and Palliative Care to deliver the provision of safe, effective and efficient human and material resources.
About you:
- A relevant Postgraduate Diploma or Master's degree is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.
- Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $164,212 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
