HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading Brisbane litigation firm to find a Litigation Lawyer (1–4 years PAE) to join their premier commercial disputes team.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious junior lawyer to gain hands-on experience in significant litigation matters including several major trials scheduled for the coming months. You’ll work closely with senior practitioners recognised for their expertise in complex disputes.

Your Day Will Involve

• Assisting on large-scale commercial litigation, including trials relating to director duties, family trusts, and professional indemnity
• Conducting legal research, drafting submissions, and preparing evidence for hearings and trials
• Liaising directly with clients, counsel, and expert witnesses
• Managing discovery and assisting with case preparation for superior court proceedings
• Collaborating with senior associates, consultants, special counsel and partners on strategy, advocacy, and trial preparation
• Developing advocacy and analytical skills through close mentorship and hands-on involvement

You’ll be mentored by senior litigators and work within a team of nine, widely recognised in Queensland’s legal market for their excellence in commercial litigation.
